This is a great little article about building your business one true fan at a time. In it Kevin Kelly is talking about making a living in the music industry, but the concept works for all of us. Build your list of peeps one at a time. True fans. True believers.
Marketing Guru, Seth Godin then adds a caveat, “You don’t find customers for your products. You find products for your customers”. So keep in conversation with these true fans so that you can stay ahead of them and give them more of what they like, want and need. This doesn’t mean selling out. They might not even know what they want next. But if you really know your fans, customers or clients, you will be able to move them in the direction you are going and give them what they didn’t know they craved.
