PROJECT NOTES

For nearly two centuries, The Old Mill has been grinding grain into flour in Pigeon Forge, TN. Today, The Old Mill property has grown to become a popular tourist destination that includes four shops,  four eateries, and a distillery.

The Old Mill contacted New Tricks to create a new website that would deliver the same high-quality experience online that their nearly 3,000 visitors a day receive during their visit to the property.

We used WordPress to build the core pages of the website including the homepage and landing pages for each restaurant and shop.

 

We used the eCommerce platform, Shopify, to create a user-friendly online store to display and facilitate the purchase of 750 products including grains from the mill, jellies, pies, sauces, and home goods.

We developed a template to display their Southern recipes and designed a timeline to tell The Old Mill’s story from 1786 to present.

The client is thrilled that their new website reflects the authentic Old Mill experience.
