Free Webinar Master Class

There’ve been certain concepts, practices, and pieces of information that I’ve picked up at various times and places along my ten-plus year journey as a web designer, that stand out to me as having played a pivotal role in forwarding my career as a web designer and agency owner. I love to share these things at WordCamps and Meetups and, I’ve bundled them together into a three-webinar master class titled, WordPress Web Designer’s Secrets Revealed.

Each year, I do a webinar series, changing it up a bit every time. I’m happy to announce I’m going to be kicking it off again this weekend. Oh, by the way, It’s absolutely free! Although I designed the content for people pursuing a career in web design, all are welcomed.

Once you sign up, you’ll get the notifications and links to join the session.  Each master class webinar will run for about an hour. I’ll send out the replays of each master class the day following each of the sessions. But, its best to be there live for the Q & A session afterward.

The Seven Core Competencies of a WordPress Web Designer
I like to also refer to this webinar as How to Sail Through the Bermuda Triangle of Web Designer Hell and on to Pro. It’s a much sexier name and the title of a similar talk I gave at WordCamp New York City, a few weeks ago.

Tuesday, October 2, at 8 PM EST

The Biggest Mistake of Broke Web Designers
There are a couple of big mistakes leading to our not realizing our financial goals as web designers. This session will give more than a few ways to avoid repeatedly shooting yourself in the foot.

Thursday, October 4, at 8 PM EST
Home Page Secrets Revealed and Rapid Website Critiques
It is a relief for people to learn that there is a finite list of items that they must check off when designing a homepage if they want the site to do the job it was intended to do.  We’ll go over those things and then demonstrate the concepts with website reviews. Some good, some bad and some ugly.

I hope you’ll join me!
